Entries are invited for the first ever Wellington Sea Shanty Showdown!
Gather a crew of fellow Greater Wellington Region-based high school students and record yourselves singing two sea shanties unaccompanied (a cappella).
The judges of this competition are looking for that powerful group-singing energy that kept a ship's crew working together in the days of old.
The most energetic, passionate singers will be in to win:

The final date for entries is 10pm October 1, 2026.
